Experiential Marketing Is The Way To Go For Uganda
*Dubai Expo 8 Companies Signed MOUs With The Government Of Uganda
In 2020, before the advent of world wide pandemic of the fatal COVID-19 disease, Dubai had organised a world Business Expo code named Dubai Expo 2020 to which Uganda had been invited.
Last year in October after COVID-19 had been subdued, Dubai resurrected the Expo idea and executed it for 6 months running up to March 2022. Uganda’s pavilion on a weekly average attracted 40, 000 attendees.
Working jointly with the government of Uganda, His Excellency Zaake Kibedi, the Ambassador of Uganda to United Arab Emirates (UAE) based in Abu Dhabi, worked tirelessly to have Uganda’s pavilion at the World Expo shine so as to attract direct investments to Uganda in different fields.
His efforts yielded concrete tangible business ventures culminating into signing of memorandum of understanding (MOUs) between the government of Uganda and 8 Dubai based companies that will start different direct investments in Uganda.
An avalanche of Uganda’s tourism, agriculture, Minerals and all other economic activities Uganda is endowed with were strategically exhibited. Many more business relationships are expected to be concretised in the near foreseeable future.
