Throughout the competition, Hasset impressed judges and audiences alike with her poise, eloquence, and purpose-driven message. She reached the Top 24 in the Talent Challenge and Top 32 in the Sports Challenge, demonstrating not only beauty but resilience, intelligence, and a competitive spirit.

A Voice for Ethiopia and Africa

Hasset’s standout moment came during her presentation video, where she urged the global community to see Africa — and Ethiopia — through a new lens. She passionately advocated for narratives that celebrate African resilience, innovation, and cultural richness, rather than outdated stereotypes.

“To God be the glory. This title is not just mine; it belongs to Ethiopia and all those who believed in me,” she said following her crowning moment.

As Miss World Africa 2025, Hasset is now entrusted with representing the continent’s vision of hope, leadership, and transformation. Her expected engagements under the Beauty with a Purpose campaign will focus on empowering young women in STEM, expanding access to education, and promoting sustainable development in Africa.

Africa Ascends on the Global Stage

Hasset’s elevation to the role of Miss World Africa is not just a personal victory — it is a continental milestone. Her achievement symbolizes the rising profile of African women in global spaces, as ambassadors of progress, dignity, and dreams realized.

Ethiopians and Africans worldwide have taken to social media to celebrate her success, trending hashtags like #MissWorldAfrica, #HassetAdmassu, #MissEthiopia, and #LandOfOrigins, while calls to support her future initiatives grow louder.

As Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand begins her reign as Miss World 2025, the world also turns to Africa’s newly crowned queen — Hasset — to inspire, advocate, and shine.
