Korea- Uganda Enhanced Partnership
Korean Association in Uganda, a body that brings together Korean living and working in Uganda, has over the years since its inception done tremendous charity drives in which donations of food and other items were made to bolster the Uganda government’s efforts in achieving its development plans.
in so doing, last year, the Korean Association conducted a one Month food donation drive to various categories of front line workers who are at the forefront of fighting the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic. Among the beneficiaries were, Mulago Hospital, Entebbe Grade B Hospital, Office of the prime minister staff, Vision Group staff, Kampala Capital City Authority Staff among others.
Despite the raging second wave of the pandemic, this year again the association, donated Brailles to deaf at Namugongo and the association is preparing to offer more aid in other areas when the economy is fully opened up to for normal activities. The Association’s activities are cordinated by the Secretary General Mr. Kim Kyungsoo
