Today, as the world marks International Women’s Day, we pause to honor the selfless dedication of female doctors who sacrifice their personal lives to heal others. Medicine may cure diseases, but it is doctors who truly heal patients—offering not just treatment but also comfort, hope, and reassurance.

Dr. Victoria Nkore works selflessly as a gynecologist

Female doctors hold a tremendous responsibility, shouldering the weight of both their professional and personal commitments. In many ways, they are married to two “husbands”: their patients and their families. Their compassion and dedication transcend tribe, culture, or background; their focus remains solely on healing and saving lives.

These remarkable women touch countless lives, treat the unknown, and uncover hidden medical truths. They work tirelessly, often in demanding and high-pressure environments, sacrificing sleep and personal time to ensure that others can regain their health. We celebrate them today, not for financial gain, but for the precious lives they save and the immeasurable impact they have on society.

Dr. Rosette just like many of her ilk swore the hippocratic oath.

I salute every female doctor for their unwavering commitment and tireless efforts. No amount of money can truly compensate for the immense value they bring to humanity. The best we can offer is our gratitude, appreciation, and prayers for their continued strength and longevity in this noble profession.

On this International Women’s Day, let us reflect on a simple but powerful truth:

“Behind every healthy life, there’s a doctor who advises and heals. A patient is to a doctor as a baby is to its mother.”

To all female doctors, you are the true champions of women’s development and the backbone of healthcare. We honor and celebrate you today and always.

Happy Women’s Day!
