Leaders Of The World’s Two Largest Economies Meet In Washington
United States President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping have held high-level talks at the White House in a meeting watched closely around the world.
Xi’s visit on September 24 marked a significant moment in US-China relations, with the White House describing it as a state visit and noting that it was more than a decade since the Chinese president’s previous visit to the White House.
The meeting brought together the leaders of two of the world’s most influential economic and military powers at a time when Washington and Beijing continue to compete over trade, technology and strategic influence.
