President Tibuhaburwa Didn’t Show Up Again
General Saleh Walked The Bride Down The Isle
Just as it was during the introduction ceremony for Ugandan president daughter Dr. Angela Kakisozi’s introduction ceremony that took place last week at Lyantonde, where the president did not show up, so was at the wedding that took place at Namirembe St. Paul’s Cathedral February 26, 2022.
Dr. Kakishozi, the youngest daughter of president Tibuhaburwa is born to him with a brother by his mistress Enid Kukunda. Angela missed that moment which every bride craves for, for the father to walk her down the isle. Instead her uncle General Salim Saleh, performed the rite.
Angela tied the knot and entered into matrimony with her lover Amanya Tumukunde Ndahura with conspicuous absence of her father. Despite his absence, the ceremony whose reception took place at Munyonyo country Resort, was billed as a Kampala luxurious wedding.
Amanya, the groom is a son to off and on rival of president Tibuhaburwa General Tumukunde. General Tumukunde is known for being at loggerheads with president Tibuhaburwa that has on several occasions culminated in the former being under house arrest for 8 years. General Tumukunde decided to run against president Tibuhaburwa in the 2021 presidential general elections where he performed so dismally.
It is hoped that the union of their children will be a spring board for the two to mend their walls permanently.
