Olivia Lutaaya, the (NUP’s Never Say Die foot soldier who spent 4 years in jail after 2021 infamous general elections where, hundreds of NUP supporters were arrested by Government. Lutaaya was released last year, she is again among NUP supporters arrested by police at Bwizibwera, on charges the police spokes person had earlier alleged that she, and others, were criminals they were looking for on allegations of vandalism and assault to police officers on duty in Lira. Paradoxically, Lutaaya was remanded to prison, on charges of participating in unlawful military drills at NUP headquarters at Makerere Kavule. The said parade was organised to celebrate NUP’s president Kyagulanyi Ssentamu’s birthday.
