As Commissioner of Police (CP) Alison Agaba retires from the Uganda Police Force, she does so with her head held high and her legacy firmly secured in the annals of Uganda’s law enforcement history. Throughout her remarkable journey, CP Agaba epitomized what it means to serve with honor and purpose. A Trail of Distinguished Service

From her early days at Masindi Police Training School and Kibuli Police Training School, CP Agaba demonstrated a passion for shaping the next generation of police officers. Her subsequent assignments took her across the country, with deployments to stations in Masaka, Old Kampala, Kalisizo, Kyotera, Lyantonde, Lwakhakha, Kabale, Sembabule, Mbarara, and Wakiso, among others. Each post brought with it unique challenges, but she consistently rose to the occasion.

Her leadership was also felt at the regional level in the East Kyoga Region and within the Kampala Metropolitan East command, where she contributed significantly to operational stability and community trust.

Notably, CP Agaba extended her service beyond Uganda’s borders through a peacekeeping mission in South Sudan—a testament to her commitment to peace on a global scale. She capped her illustrious career with a prestigious role at Interpol, where she served as an international police officer before formally retiring.
