Uganda Today: As the government of Uganda led by General Yoweri Tibuhaburwa is busy hosting the 19th Non Aligned Movement（NAM）, oppostion stalwart namely Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, aka Bobi Wine of National Unity Platform NUP, Kizza Besigye of FDC, Winnie Kiiza of ANTI, and many others converged at the FDC splinter group Katonga offices to launch and urge citizens to participate in massive country wide demonstrations aimed at overwhelming the 38 year Museveni government that is currently hosting the very important 19th Kampala NAM summit.
What NAM is all about
The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) is a forum of 120 developing countries that are not formally aligned with or against any major power bloc. NAM’s 19th summit is taking place at Kampala Uganda.
Uganda was elected as a member of NAM in 1964 in Egypt.
