For The First Time In Qatar, Mama Doha Presents A Beach Bonanza

Beach Soccer, Beach Volleyball, Campfire, Nyama Choma And Shisha Shall Be In Plenty

For quite some years now, world focus, in no small measure has been put on Qatar, the Middle East country that’s currently hosting the world’s biggest sports event- World Cup. This is the first time for the World Cup tournament to be held in the Middle East since world cup inaugural event inception in 1930.

Because of the frenzy and the enthrall that is associated with soccer, an innovative Ugandan Sarah Kiggundu who is also the founding member of  Kiggundu Foundation, decided to shed off the anxiety that goes on with soccer by organizing the Mama Doha beach bonanza, the first of its kind, so that Ugandan residents of Qatar in particular, Africans and Qataris in general, can all enjoy music by renowned DJs and also take part in other  entertaining recreational activities.

In action shall be DJ Victor, DJ Narts and DJ Albanks. Revelers shall be treated to beach soccer, beach volleyball, campfire nyama choma and shisha among other entertainment activities which attendees shall live to relish. There are close to 20,000 Ugandans currently doing different jobs in Qatar. These are the major attendees expected to grace this maiden fun filled excursion.

The day’s fun filled activities shall be staged at Al Khor beach and will call for a paltry budget outlay of 50 QR. This shall include food and transport. Two designated pick-up points at Grand Mall and Andrew Gardens are already in place and others shall  be spread throughout Doha depending on demand trends to ease transport hustles for all intending revelers.

The event dubbed Mama Doha new year winter festival season1 is the first of its kind and the organiser, is calling on revelers especially the close to 20,000 Ugandans working in Qatar to come one, come all  and celebrate their hard work before returning home.
