UgandaToday: Kasese Gripped With Fear Of Bijambiya Thugs
News reaching Uganda Today from residents of Kasese indicate that last night October 31, 2025, thugs invaded Kasese Central Police Barracks and according to unverified information, one person was killed.
Uganda Today couldn’t verify whether the deceased was a police personnel or one of the thugs. According to residents whom Uganda Today spoke to on condition of anonymity, incidents of this nature have lately spread from Maya, Rwimi and now central Kasese.
Contacted for a comment, the regional Police Spokesperson SP Nelson Tumusiime, couldn’t give a clear comment, because Uganda Today experienced a dropped call immediately after picking the call. Our repeated calls thereafter, weren’t responded to.
