World Mourns Sudden Death Of Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga Of Kampala Archdiocese

Death in its surreptitious way of claiming humans, has set it’s talons on the Archbishop of Kampala Catholic Archdiocese his Eminence Cyprian Kizito Lwanga who was found lifeless in his house at Lubaga.

Who is Cyprian Kizito Lwanga?
Cyprian Kizito Lwanga was born on 19th January 1953 at Kyabakadde-Naggalama, Mukono. He has died at 68 years. He attended Kyabakadde Primary School, Nyenga Seminary and then Katigondo National Major Seminary in Kalungu District. He then studied Theology at Ggaba National Seminary and In 1979, he joined the University of Clermont-Ferrand in France, were he studied administration and languages.

Kizito Lwanga later studied at Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome, where in 1994, he earned
a doctorate in Canon Law. He was ordained priest in 1978 and was appointed as first Bishop of KasanaLuweero Diocese in 1996. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga was appointed as the 3rd Archbishop of Kampala in 2006 and has served as the same for the last 15 years. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
