Elegu Emmanuel, a 21-year-old student from Anyangabela village, Okuda parish, Ongongoja sub-county, Usuk County, Katakwi District, has reached out to the public with a heartfelt appeal for sponsorship to pursue higher education. Despite achieving an impressive academic performance in his Advanced Level Certificate of Education in 2023, financial constraints have hindered his dream of pursuing a university degree.
About Elegu Emmanuel
Elegu recently completed his A’level education at Soroti SS, where he studied Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics (BCM). His results are as follows:
- Biology: 2 points
- Chemistry: 5 points
- Mathematics: 6 points
- General Paper: 1 point
- ICT: 1 point
With a total of 15 points, Emmanuel demonstrated remarkable potential, especially in the sciences.
The Challenge
Despite his academic achievements, Emmanuel’s dreams of furthering his education have been put on hold due to financial difficulties. He was not selected for government sponsorship, and his parents are unable to afford the tuition fees for any of the courses he aspires to pursue.

Emmanuel is appealing to kind-hearted individuals, organizations, and well-wishers for assistance to help him pursue a degree in one of the following fields:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery: Approximately UGX 35 million for the full course.
- Bachelor of Nursing: Approximately UGX 25 million for the full course.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy: Approximately UGX 35 million for the full course.
- Bachelor of Science Education: Approximately UGX 10 million for the full course.
