Uganda To Host The Second Africa South To South Triangular Cooperation

37th NRM Administration Celebrations to be held In Kakumiro District

Uganda Today:

For 3 days, starting from  Tuesday January 17th to Thursday January 19th, Uganda will host the 2nd Africa High Level Forum of the South to South Triangular Cooperation (SSTC) on Sustainable Development. The venue will be Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort.

According to the  Minister of ICT & National Guidance, Mr. Kabbyanga B.K Godfrey, Uganda will from 17th to 19th January host the forum with the theme:  “Building National Capacities for South to South and Triangular Cooperation Ecosystem in Africa and Forging Horizontal partnerships for Sustainable and Resilient Societies”.

This high level forum will gather 250 high level participants Including Ministries from African Peer Review Mechanism Countries, the academia, Civil Society Organizations, United Nations, Private sector, Finance institutions and Several development partners.

At the same first cabinet meeting this year, that was held at Entebbe on January 09, 2023, cabinet also approved the signing of Production Sharing Agreements (PSAs) and grant of Exploration licences for an initial two-year period to Uganda National Oil Company (Kasuruban licence) and DGR Energy Turaco Uganda SMC Limited (Turaco Licence).

At same meeting, it was agreed that the  37th NRA/M Victory Day Celebrations will be held on 26th January 2023 in Kakumiro District.
