President Yoweri Museveni has officially opened the Sebei Industrial Hub in Uganda’s eastern region, an initiative aimed at empowering the youth through vocational training and job creation. This development is part of a nationwide program to enhance industrialization and address unemployment among Uganda’s growing youth population.
The hub will offer training in various fields, including carpentry, tailoring, and agriculture, equipping over 400 young Ugandans annually with skills to foster self-reliance and entrepreneurship. Museveni emphasized the government’s commitment to improving infrastructure and fostering development, urging the youth to capitalize on these opportunities to build sustainable livelihoods.
