Uganda Today Edition: KIU to Hold 30th Graduation Ceremony on November 23, 2024

Kampala, Uganda – Kampala International University (KIU) has announced that its 30th graduation ceremony will be held on Saturday, 23rd November 2024, at the university’s main campus in Kansanga, Kampala. The Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (DVC-AA), Dr. Jacob Eneji Ashibi, confirmed the date in a letter dated 16th September 2024.

According to Dr. Ashibi, the prestigious event will honor the hard work and achievements of over 2,000 students who completed their studies during the 2023/2024 academic year. These graduates hail from both the KIU main campus in Kansanga and the university’s Ishaka branch. During the ceremony, students will be conferred with PhDs, Masters Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas, and Ordinary Certificates across various academic disciplines.

KIU, one of the largest private universities in Uganda, is recognized for its commitment to providing quality education. Established in 2001, KIU was granted a university charter by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE), which solidified its reputation as a premier institution of higher learning in the country. The university is owned by Hon. Dr. Al-Hajj Hassan Basajjabalaba, a prominent businessman and entrepreneur.

KIU offers a wide range of courses, catering to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The university’s academic programs cover disciplines such as Business, Law, Medicine, Engineering, Social Sciences, Education, and Information Technology, among others.
