Uganda is set to host a high-level training on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, facilitated by globally renowned trainers, on September 26–27, 2025, in Kampala.
The initiative, spearheaded by CHI Uganda, is designed to equip participants with practical skills and insights on how businesses, organizations, and institutions can align with sustainable development goals, improve compliance, and enhance their corporate reputation in an increasingly competitive global marketplace.
According to the Country Director of CHI Uganda, this training is not only timely but also critical in shaping Uganda’s capacity to adopt internationally recognized ESG standards.
“As climate change, ethical business, and governance issues continue to take center stage, Ugandan organizations must not be left behind. This training provides an opportunity to learn from some of the world’s best facilitators in ESG,” the organizers said.

The program targets professionals in the private sector, civil society, government, academia, and entrepreneurs who wish to strengthen their knowledge and practical application of ESG frameworks.
Call for Sponsorships
Organizers have called upon companies, institutions, and well-wishers to sponsor promising candidates who may not be able to afford the participation fee. Sponsorship will help build a new generation of leaders with the expertise to advance sustainable business practices in Uganda.
