NUP Fundraiser Continues Unabated

With Stifling legislation that bars political parties that do not associate with IPOD from receiving government funding of political parties, the government thought it had hammered a death nail to NUP.

Uganda Today: NUP Fundraiser Continues Unabated

Kampala– The chairperson of the special committee for the fundraising drive Hon. Balimwezo Ronald Nsubuga has given an update on the progress of this exercise, declaring that they were able to raise UGX 135,790,000 in cash, Cheques worth UGX 21 million on the first day of the campaign. He noted that in pledges they were able to generate 869,530,000 which totals to 1,026,327,000 for both cash and pledges for just the first day. On day two, They raised UGX 21,196,000 in cash and UGX 19,700,000 on mobile money. He appreciated all comrades who are still supporting their fundraising drive. He has made this update during the  graduation ceremony for the 2nd cohort of the NUP School of Leadership.
